Pressure Treated Pine with a mahogany trim at the toe of the treads. this was finished the following year with timber oil in a mahogany flame tone. 5 years later and still growing strong , some good finish.
    Sorry I have no pictures of the finish applied, the custom bench seating was redone to reset the splice in the seating. there was a choice and I chose the wrong design. off set the supports or split the splice.
I split the splice above. later went back and replaced a tread which had cracked when it dried, applied finish and reworked the bench seating.
the dates on the photo's are wrong as I did not set the date feature in my camera at the time.
open faced stairs with a custom cut decking and traditional safety railing. 6 x 6 post to beam support. pea gravel stabilizer for the post no pier.
